I used this amount to mount a 4K TV to my computer desk for computer gaming it goes together easily play in this Easley adjustableInstalled onto an existing articulated shelf that previously held a smaller TV. New TV is a 32-inch Samsung M4500.Seems pretty sturdy. Can't comment on the bolts/screws provided, as I bolted it the steel shelf using aircraft-grade hardware and the TV came with the right screws to attach the VESA adaptor plate. The little trim disk on the shaft does a nice job of making the installation look nice and clean.A couple of small points. First, the VESA plate actually blocked some of the connections for the TV...specifically, the component video and the digital audio output. It didn't affect my installation, because I'm not using those features. Still, the "scooped" sides of the VESA plate could probably stand to be a bit deeper. I have a bandsaw, and could have modified the part if I had cared.Second, there's a neat little cable pass-through down the center of the vertical shaft. Neat feature, but for my Samsung, the HDMI and power connections were near the right edge of the TV, so the feature was wasted.Third, I would have loved to have a dimensioned drawing of the mounting base, showing the spacing of the holes. Digging around in the Q&A, it turned out to be 4.9" in diameter, with the holes on a square 2.7" per side. Still, it would have saved me some work if it had been included in the instructions or even available online. The overall dimensions of the unit are on the outside of the box, but not the details of the mounting plate.THAT said, it won't affect most of you, who will just plop the thing into position and drill through the holes...The unit has a fixed height, which is probably fine for most applications, but it did put the bottom of my relatively small TV five inches above the shelf. A bit taller than I wanted, since the articulated shelf is already five feet above the floor. But then, did I mention I own a bandsaw? :-)Good unit for the price, but I would have been happy to spend $5 or $10 more for a unit that gave me some height flexibility.Glad I went with this mount!I have a 55” TV, and my mantle is about 8.5” deep. Having a narrower wood mantle with stacked stone, I was having trouble finding a minimal looking mount that would fit, as all the others I found were too deep, and I did not want to/didn’t even know how to or even if I could mount into the brick. This one worked out flawlessly!I installed it myself it in about 20-30 minutes. The hardest part was getting the TV up that high on the mount without help. I centered the base, marked the mounting holes, pre-drilled small pilot holes into the wood, lined up the base, and drilled in the provided hardware. back of the TV mounts were quick to install, and came with the needed spacers. Piece of cake! You can turn the TV angle left and right very smoothly and easily. This mount does NOT allow you to tilt tv downward, but that is not a feature I was looking for, so no big deal. I think you can adjust the height too, but I didn’t mess with it as it worked out perfectly and left room for the Roku & Echo underneath it. Also my Funko pops can stand up in the space under the tv too, and I can turn the tv without knocking them over ?Would definitely recommend! If this non-handy woman can install it herself, so can you!Our wall had no studs so this was a great find! Able to still have above the fireplace and easy to install!Product is a solid stand. I chose to buy separately mounting hardware to attach the stand to my TV cabinet. Wanted nuts and bolts with fender washers to mount to mdf/particle board cabinet instead of included lag screws.Had to cut small portion of the bottom edge of the mounting plate away since it blocked access to some of the connectors on the back of my vizio 43" TV.Kit came with plenty of VEZA mounting hw but smallest included was an M5 bolt. Vizio 43" tv needed an M4 bolt to mount the VESA brackets so needed to get those from hardware store as well.Only other minor issue is the vertical tube cable routing holes are tight if you have more than 2 hdmi cables. Managed to get all my cables routed but it took some fiddling. Slightly larger diameter tube would make cable routing a bit easier.The house we just bought has shiplap over and around the fireplace, and then there is a gap and then concrete above the mantle. I did not want to mount our TV over the mantel into the wall. I found this item as an alternative, and bought it even though it said it was for TVs up to 55 inches as I wanted to see if there was a possibility. Our mantle is rock solid so I knew it would be able to handle the weight if the TV. When I recieved the mount, I mounted the brackets as high as they could go leaving me a small amount of room on the bottom. Even if it was below the actual mount we could have hung the TV past the mantle. Once I got into the hardware included I had to stop because the bolts that go into the tv were way to long (they were originally for curved TVs ) so I ordered a universal TV bolt kit on amazon for 11 bucks or so. It has every bolt for every tv you'll ever need. Of course you'll have 60 extra pieces bc you need 4, but it's better than going to the hardware store multiple times trying to find the perfect bolt size. Once I received the kit, I had the right length and proceeded to mount the tv. It's been up for several weeks and I couldn't be happier. So, go ahead and order this along with the universal TV bolt kit and you'll be fine. Remember the mount is rated for (I believe 110lbs) and a 65 inch (at least the I mounted) is approximately 47lbs.If you don't want holes in the wall. If you don't trust those flimsy legs that come with the TV. If you got kids or pets in the house. This may be the answer you are looking for. You attach the pole to a sturdy piece of furniture, you will need to put holes in it, and attach to the back of the TV. The directions could be a bit better, but we figured it out and we are not great at this kind of stuff. Wish the pole had adjustable height though.We are in the midst of shifting the three TVs we have in our house around and, one that's been retired for a couple of years, is being set up in the basement on the stand that's the subject of this review. We purchased this particular TV stand because it seemed to be the answer to what want to do to secure - rather than having the TV just sit "freestanding" on an old TV cabinet we're refinishing. This is another “good deal” and I would recommend, without any hesitation whatsoever, this item to others. The VIVO unit was a great alternative to provide the functionality of a wall mount while holding the TV up from the bottom.The mount is very easy to install on the TV and on my fireplace mantle, it hides cords well and looks sleek.The only major con to the product is the directions. Based on the size of the blots provided to secure the stand you should drill pilot holes to ensure you wood surface doesn’t crack/break. The directions don’t give any indication as to what size hood you should drill so it took a bit of guess work.This product is a 9/10. I have bought a second one for the office and recommend it anyone looking for a sleek under mount.This is exactly what I was looking for, and also a bit hard to find it seems, so right on VIVO for making this product. I was not keen to drill into brick in my rented home (nor was my landlord), and I wanted a method to mount my TV above the fireplace without fear of it ever falling down. This was perfect for me in every way. I put up a wood mantle, mounted this to the wood, and now I have a tv that swivels above my fireplace and still gives the clean look. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Highly recommended.
