I was in the market for a general purpose projector to watch sports and tv on my back deck. This one was recommended on Amazon then I ran into it again when searching reviews outside of Amazon. Those reviews listed this one as #1 among other brands of the same value.I ordered it in the evening and it arrived the very next morning. Off to a good start! (Just my personal experience, I obviously cannot guarantee the same turnaround time for everyone.)I'm not currently using a mount, so I can't comment on INSTALLATION. But as for basic SETUP, I can't imagine it gets any easier than this. All the cords you need come in the box. I mention this because often times you're left to get an HDMI cord for yourself. I plug it into an outlet and it instantly turns on to standby mode (all the buttons glow red). Then I press the power button and it boots up (all the buttons glow blue).From there just select your input just as you would a TV. In my case, I plugged up an Apple TV to one of the HDMI ports using the HDMI cord included and selected that input. Everything worked as expected and the picture quality was great. For what it's worth, I watched football all day on it and then at night, I watched a movie. The photo attached shows the comparison to a 65" Samsung with daylight coming into the living room.At night, with no other lights on, picture quality only gets better. Not to mention how large the screen size can get! My initial setup was really just to test this thing out before I mount it on my back deck. (It delivered so fast I don't even have a screen to cast it onto yet so I'm using my light grey walls.) And as you can see, it dwarfs a 65" TV.As for sound quality, using only the projector's speaker, the sound was just as sufficient as a TV's built-in speaker. But you don't buy a projector for sound quality so we're not looking for anything beyond standard here. As for volume, well...I stayed up a little late watching movies in my new "theater" mode and my wife had to text me from upstairs to turn it down. So yeah, volume isn't a problem.For what this projector is priced at--$300 at the time of writing this--I don't think there's a better value out there. I am certainly pleased with the purchase and have already recommended this to friends and family.With all this said, out of the box, you can accomplish everything you need at a basic level. Beyond that, you may eventually want to upgrade to using external speakers, mounting it, and using a good quality screen to cast the image on.This Jifar presented a significantly positive “OH WOW!” response when seeing its projection onto a hologram screen, especially as compared against two other same-priced models. I needed a projector exclusively to make the Halloween effects from AtmosFX videos come alive, and this Jifar made the grade, particularly when seen side by side with lesser machines in the same price range. The subtle details/Sharpness in the ghostly apparitions were decidedly carved in, making images that looked as 3D as any I’ve ever seen without actual 3D glasses.The Contrast was exceptional. Blackout was as black (no discernable white bleedover) as a modern LED TV, which is essential for allowing the hologram ghosts to seem to float in mid air. The other two projectors I compared against allowed much more background white light to pollute the otherwise black space, as if the apparitions were instead in a fog. Bright as any projector I’ve used and colors popped.The control buttons along the top are helpfully backlit in blue and labeled logically, so no need for the remote control. Good thing too because the remote’s buttons have completely different icons and made little sense to me. Besides, even with brand new batteries the IR remote had to have straight-on line-of-sight to the receive window on the projector no further than 6 feet to be seen.This Jifar could not read any of my USB 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 flash drives, so luckily I had an old 2.0 model, and was able to play the .mp4 videos through that. A detail that should be mentioned in the documentation.I’m totally keeping this clearly superior projector for my upcoming Halloween effects show, but I’m still gonna grumble about its limited old-school keystone adjustment wheel. Only allows a bit of up/down correction. Others have detailed software-enabled keystone adjustments but this one requires setup in the exact bottom/center of the screen, plus or minus what,15°? Rats. Well, the trade off for the quality is worth it for me!Oh, and it arrived exactly when promised, and with a very nice backpack carrying case.Great for indoors up to about 300"... bought it to project on a 33' outdoor screen, and it is great in pitch black...any ambient light or a full moon and its not bright enough to project that large. Oh...and the lens gets stuck in.Not as bright as I thought it would be my old Epson 1080p blow this junk out of the water, focus is terrible as well as sharpness im definitely sending it back and spending a little extra on quality, something this product doesn't have the second pic is my old EpsonThe JIFAR projector arrived in quality. The case was missing a few screws and was loose. LED lamp flickered often and then refused to come back on after a week. I have contacted the seller and explained the situation. They curtly replied that a replacement LED lamp will be mailed to my address. That was a couple of months ago. Buyer beware these are poor quality projectors with even worse product support. Amazon was not interested in my situation either.I ordered 2 others projectors before this one quality was great but this one is amazing you get almost 80% daytime TV supports 4K and quality is very very satisfying specially in dark is way better than tv it may take longer than what you expect but well worth itAlso comes brand new two others was retuned before I could tell the moment I open the box I don’t think I could fine any better than this I connect my Bluetooth speaker to Apple TV so no need to get the one with Bluetooth connection optionStrongly recommendedWas good at the beginning but 4 months later the ball doesn't work anymore and I tried to get a whole the company for over two weeks now no response customer service suck.. I'm very very very pissed off
