I like the look of this media stand but MY GOODNESS, it was NOT easy to assemble! I’ve assembled many pieces of furniture in my life but, hands down, this was the most challenging. I had never assembled drawers before. The drawers themselves were not complicated. Like the assembly of anything, you take it a step at a time. The steps were not described but were diagramed. That’s okay but the line-drawing representation was not detailed enough to capture the orientation of the drawer glides on the inner sides of the cabinet, nor on the sides of the drawers. There was some trial and error involved and some consultation with my grandson. So with the start (determination) and stop (frustration) nature of the job, it took me a month to complete it. I recommend enlisting another person to help steady the larger section. I completed that part solo but it fell apart a couple of times before I had it secured. As someone else stated, it’s not the most quality piece and is not “forever” furniture.pretty nice piece, build took a while but not too bad, 2.5 hours. sturdy enough, cool as a low dresser . ?Took me 4 hours to assemble. According to instructions, no drill is needed. I used one and it made it MUCH easier. Nice clean lines but note the top is not wood grain. Rather, it is a slate gray. I put a strip of LED lights under the bottom edges for added details. See photo.Really good quality for the price. Instructions were a bit complex, with challenges to define part orientation. However, once you get rolling it all makes sense.Received the unit, box was undamaged but top of the cabinet was dented in multiple places.Called Modway and was instructed to email instead, email received auto reply to not expect reply within 15-20 days as they are too busy.Waited over 20 days and tried two additional emails. Never receiving a response.Returned the unit on the last day of eligibility as I'm not expect them to ever hear from them and just hope you forget about the return date and get stuck with a damaged unit.We carried this up three flights of stairs and it took my bf multiple days to put together. And at the very end the drawers don’t fit. The tracks are misaligned. So now we have no options and are burned out and our only option would be to send back. I called the support phone number which is actually local company spoke to a representative name Day- kept calling me hun. Said there’s nothing to do and contact Amazon but Amazon gives their support number. This is garbage. Support is garbage and don’t even try to get a resolution or help from company..This is maybe the best value for money item I have ever purchased. Looks wonderful. Way more up market than the cost might suggest. This item was not at all as I expected. The drawers (6 of them) do not fit a standard DVD case. The item was not at all sturdy, once the item was placed right side up one leg broke. While flipping it back onto its back another one broke. The legs were made of the cheapest material possible (a cardboard compound).
