So, I'll be blunt and to the point. I mainly like one type of music : original score. There are other artists out there who I like, listen to, and respect, but 99% of the time, I'm listening to a score. Must I say WOW what a good score this is - and for a tv series too! (A fantastic one at that). The opening title tells you that you're in for some non-traditional kind of music, which sometimes isn't a bad thing. Here's a rundown of my favorite cues :Breaking Bad - Main Title Theme (Extended), as reviewed above.Matches In The Pool - played early in season one, as walt sits at the pool, figuring out what to do now that he'll probably be dead within a year, or two. Very calm, and sombery at the same time.Smoking Jesse's Pot - seems like something you'd hear in a typical stoner movie, but still pretty damn awesome.Grey Matter - Played during a flashback in early season one. Very moody, and eerie.Baby's coming - very tense, and fast paced, but you're also worried about time running out for an important thing (Much like in the episode itself).Jane's Demise - once again, very somber, and one of the standout cues in the series.Hank In Pursuit - actually an amalgamation of cues, this plays as Hank becomes more and more desperate to figure out just who this "Heisenberg" is.Crawl Space - Frantic, and fast paced.Dissassemble - Moody, quiet, with an interesting ending. These are imo, the standout cues of the album (not that any are at all bad, very worth the low asking price of amazon). Buy it, and let's hope for a second CD full of score, and left off cues from the series,
