TV400-B Anti-Tip Kit for Flat Screen TVs - Secure Wall Mount Safety Bracket by Hangman Products - Perfect for Living Room, Bedroom & Office TV Installation

I just installed this product and here are my observations:1) The kit is made in the USA!2) The cables could have been just a little bit longer, especially since they can be shortened by tying knots in them. (my install was ok).3) I had to bend the cable eye hooks (at the TV end) more than 45 degrees because the mounting holes on my TV were recessed more than half an inch.4) I reused the screws that were already in my TV (for wall mounting) as the included screws were the wrong size for my unit.I believe most flat screen TV's these days have the necessary screws pre-installed, although some are only available if you remove your TV stand (i.e. my bedroom TV), and if that's the case you'll have to purchase screws if the kit does not include your size. I'm pretty handy with tools so other than some simple modifications my install was straight forward. Just remember that the part that attaches to the wall needs to be screwed into wall studs and with the limited length cables you may need to have your TV very close to the wall in order to reach the studs. I would recommend this product to a friend as long as the price is right. I found the same thing at another website and their price was 4 times as much as on Amazon so shop around. My TV is a 52" and sits atop my old entertainment center. I live in earthquake country and prior to this install, my TV would have toppled over pretty easily. Safety is no accident!I have two largish dogs who run around and this was very easy to install so I have peace of mind they won’t knock the TV overI purchased the the anti tip kit to keep our 2 year old from accidentally knocking over the TV. The kit was simple and easy to install. Except, The M8 hardware that was included in the kit needed to 43mm, not 10mm. My Samsung TV model is the QLED65.I read the questions and answers and it stated there was M8 hardware included for attaching to a Samsung TV.Had to make a trip to Home Depot for the correct bolts.Though this product has some great potential, I found that the screws supplied for the tv side are very short. I was only able to get half a turn with the supplied screws and 1 washer. Had I used the supplied screw and had a decent earthquake I probably wouldn't have a tv. Also the locking washer was attached to the screw so I had to get new lock/crush washers to go with a set of screws.Attached is a picture of the supplied set up on the tv with the treads touching the hole, not even screwed in any.I purchased the Hangman TV kit after installing several of their furniture kits around the house. The all metal construction is great, and it;s really easy to undo if I need to move the TV or stand around for whatever reason.Was easy to setup but the screws that came with it were no long enough for my TV but luckily i had some left over in an old TV mount box.This looks like it will work well. I want to trust it - however I refuse to intentionally knock over my $900 tv to find out. But it looks like it will hold. I screwed it right into some studs.Slightly challenging to connect lanyards. Once secured, I have no worries about my 3 cats and 2 dogs
