I purchased this antenna for digital channel 12 over the VHF channel 12 band and I had tried another antenna and also rabbit ears for channel 12 and it wasn't possible to receive channel 12 using just rabbit ears and because of the distance from the transmitter. However, this antenna was able to get channel 12 and with 100% signal quality and over 50% signal strength. The antenna isn't nearly as good as the same company "Antennas Direct" DB8-e antenna for UHF and so that was combined and using the same company "Antennas Direct" UHF/VHF combiner. The combiner also worked for combining the two antennas and not only did it work but it combined both antennas and that's the antenna being reviewed here and as a VHF antenna for channel 12 along with their UHF DB8-e antenna and that also cleaned up the signal a bit more and so that worked. Thus, I have now have channel 12 and at very good signal strength. The antenna does what it is I purchased the antenna for and so I gave it five stars. Thank you.
